Seasoned Worker Forum
“There is a light at the end of the tunnel after this recession, and we’re starting to see improvements in our economy. Most of us are tired of all the posturing in Congress, stimulus packages, money for this and that, but still no jobs,” said Dave Tomm, president of the Seasoned Workforce™ LLC of Rockland. “The private sectors of our economy, the people who will create the best jobs, are still moving forward planning their company’s future. The world needs the goods and services we can produce. There will be many new opportunities and our seasoned workers, folks 50 and older, will be a key ingredient in our future economic growth. Our Seasoned Worker Forums investigate the problems and the opportunities for older workers through open discussions with area businesses.”
On Tuesday morning, October 20, 2009, from 9 until noon the Seasoned Workforce™ in conjunction with the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce and several local companies, will present a free Seasoned Worker Forum at the Hampton Inn in Waterville. The Inn is located at 425 Kennedy Memorial Drive (Routes 11 and 137) off Interstate 95 exit 127.
